Teresa Capachione: Director, BFA Boston Conservatory of Music... Selected studies at Brown University, Manhattan School of Music and Bridgewater State College.
Having founded the Capachione School in 1986, Ms. Capachione has dedicated the better part of her career to theatre education. She began her performance career at the age of 16 as a concert singer and has continued to perform throughout the years. Concert performances have included appearances in Boston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York and a special concert for Stephen Sondheim. Most recently, Ms. Capachione had the opportunity to sing at the Pompeii Ampi -Theater in Pompeii, Italy.
Prior to the opening of CSPA, Teresa was a member of the Actor's Equity Union and enjoyed a fruitful career appearing on stage in such roles as Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Delores in She-Boppin', Beatrice in A View From the Bridge and Julia in Fallen Angels. Recent stage appearances have included community theatre productions of Gypsy, Oklahoma, Chicago and Cabaret for which she received rave reviews.
Film and recording credits include several commercials, public service announcements, talk shows and cast recordings.
Ms. Capachione is an award winning actor, director, costume designer and choreographer. Her students are the recipients of many national and regional titles in recognition of outstanding vocal performance.
The Yamaha Music Corporation has recognized Ms. Capachione and the Capachione School for outstanding leadership in the field of music education.
Ms. Capachione has been selected to Who's Who Among America's Best Teachers for five consecutive years and and is a listee of JBC Leading Educators of the World and Who's Who Among America's Top Professionals.



Tara McSweeney: Director of Theatre BA, Bridgewater State College. Ms. McSweeney holds degrees in both theatre and dance education. An award winning director and choreographer, her work includes Bridgewater State College Dance Company, original choreography for a new children’s musical, Massasoit Community College, the Burnell School in Bridgewater and East Bridgewater High School.
Tara is an accomplished, award winning actress having appeared in numerous musicals including Godspell, Company, Fame, Pajama Game, Crazy For You, Chicago, Cabaret, Red, Hot & Cole, Anything Goes and West Side Story.
Her work with the Access Broadway Performing Arts Competition won her students national acclaim as New England’s “Best Studio.”


Adam Joy: BA Bridgewater State College...Adam's directing and choreographing credits have included numerous productions here at CSPA as well as East Bridgewater High School, Hingham Civic Music Theatre, and Artists Way Conservatory.
Adam has been on stage in numerous productions including leading roles in, The Wedding Singer, Charlie Brown, Beauty and the Beast, Grease, Footloose, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Adam's roles in Urinetown the Musical and How I Learned to Drive at BSC earned him an Irene Ryan Nomination for Acting from the American College Theatre Festival.
Adam's recent work has contributed to Capachione's successful best studio win at Access Broadway 2010.
